Why this training matters

DCAA compliance starts with knowing what auditors look for

When a DCAA auditor reviews your accounting system, they're not just checking numbers. They're evaluating whether your team understands the rules. The SF-1408, the DCAA's pre-award accounting system checklist, explicitly requires that employees responsible for contract costs receive appropriate training and guidance. Documented training is part of what auditors evaluate when assessing whether your accounting system is adequate.

This series covers the fundamentals: what an adequate accounting system requires, how to configure QuickBooks® Online to meet those standards, and how to prepare for an audit before one is scheduled. Practical, CPA-reviewed, and built around real GovCon scenarios.

Introductory to intermediate level. No prior DCAA experience required. If you already have contracts and haven't been audited yet, this is the right starting point.
